Man and teenager charged with murder after fatal stabbing on Moreton Hall estate in Bury St Edmunds

A man and a teenager have been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Bury St Edmunds.

Neil Charles, 47, of Bury St Edmunds, died from a single stab wound to the chest two days after police were called to an incident in Winsford Road, on the Moreton Hall estate, at about 3.55am on June 20.

A man and a teenager who were first arrested in connection with the incident on June 20 and rearrested yesterday have both been charged with murder.

They are David King, 55, and Edward King, 18, both of Radnor Close in Bury St Edmunds.

The pair have been remanded in custody to appear before Suffolk Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
