Man appears in court after being charged with attempted rape of girl

A man appeared in court today charged with attempted rape and to incite a girl under 16 into sexual activity.
Shakibul Hussain, 38, of Risbygate Street in Bury St Edmunds, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court this morning in connection with the alleged incident in the early hours of Saturday, March 9 in the town.
The case was adjourned to allow Hussain to be legally represented.
He is due to appear in court next on June 5 and was remanded in custody.
