Man arrested in Bury St Edmunds after officers find knife in stop and search

A man was arrested in Bury St Edmunds last night after police found him carrying a knife.

A Bury St Edmunds Police spokesperson said they recieved reports that a man in a group had a knife on him.

They said officers carried out a stop and search and the knife was found.

The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.
