Needham Market man Raymond Hogg charged after A12 crash last year left woman dead
A 69-year-old man from Needham Market has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Raymond Hogg, of Bridge Street, was summonsed to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court yesterday where he was charged.
This comes after a police investigation into a crash on the A12 in 2018 in which a woman died.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the northbound carriageway at Washbrook, near the Copdock Mill interchange, at around 12.40pm on April 20, 2018.
Four cars - a red Mazda 6, a black Vauxhall Zafira, a black Toyota Hilux and a blue BMW 320 - were involved as well as two Volvo HGV lorries, one of which Mr Hogg was driving.
Mandy Snowling, 43, of Ipswich, who was driving the Mazda, died at the scene.
Mr Hogg has been bailed to appear before Ipswich Crown Court on September 10.
