Brandon man charged with attempted murder after another injured in High Street shotgun incident
A Brandon man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was allegedly shot in the leg outside his home.
Jason Anderson, 36 of Riverside Way, was charged with firearms offences following an incident at an address in the High Street on Monday, December 12.
A man in his 40s suffered minor injuries after a firearm, believed to be a shotgun, was discharged outside his home.
The injury was described as minor and he did not require hospital treatment.
Anderson was originally charged with two counts of failing to comply with the conditions of a firearm certificate and possession of an imitation firearm intent to cause fear of violence.
On Friday, he appeared at Ipswich Crown Court where he has now been further charged with attempted murder.
He was further remanded to appear before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday, May 26.
