Man dies in Little Stonham collision

A man has died in a collision at Little Stonham.

Suffolk Police were called to the A140 today (February 6) at about 3.30pm after reports of a collision between a HGV lorry and a van.

Emergency services, including the fire service and air ambulance, were called to the scene.

The male driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the HGV lorry was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by air ambulance for treatment for suspected broken wrists.

The road was closed while police investigated and reopened just before 3am.
