Man in 30s dies in motorbike and lorry crash on A143 at Stanton




A man has died after a crash between a motorbike and lorry in Stanton last night.

Police were at called at 7.55pm yesterday to the incident on the A143 just south of the village.

The motorcyclist – a man in his 30s - died at the scene.

The A143 remains closed in both directions between the junction with the A1088 near Ixworth and the B1111 at Stanton while investigations continue.

Motorists are advised to find alternative routes.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses, along with anyone driving in the area just before the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, quoting CAD 359 of May 18.
