Man in 30s left with serious injuries after Oliver Road, Bury St Edmunds, attack by gang of men




A man was seriously injured after he was attacked by a gang of men in a town.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at garages off Oliver Road, in Bury St Edmunds, on Wednesday.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was attacked by a group of between two and four men at some point between 6pm and 6.30pm.

He suffered serious injuries in the incident, which are not believed to be life threatening.

The man was taken to hospital after the incident and remains there.

The attackers are believed to have been driving a metallic, silver/blue SUV.

After the attack, they drove off in the direction of Westley Road.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses or those with information to come forward and contact Suffolk Police, quoting reference 37/26134/25.
