Thetford drug warrant sees man jailed after discovery of 60 cannabis plants

A man has been jailed after police officers found he was growing 60 cannabis plants at a Thetford property last month.

Lidian Brihmani, 24, of no fixed address, appeared at Suffolk Magistrates' Court on January 27 having pleaded guilty to being concerned in the production of cannabis.

He was arrested after officers executed a warrant at a property in Salisbury Way on January 25 and found the large amount of cannabis plants.

Brihmani was sentenced to 12 months in prison.
