Man's body found in Westley field near A14 slip on outskirts of Bury St Edmunds
A man's body has been found in a field on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, police have confirmed this evening.
Officers were called to Westley shortly after 2.50pm today following reports that the body had been discovered.
Emergency crews were called to the location but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Road closures were temporarily in place at the entry to the A14 at Westley while an investigation was carried out.
The death is being treated as unexplained at this time but police have said they do not currently believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
A file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
The road has now reopened.
