Man's ear bitten in assault at Bury St Edmunds pub
A man needed hospital treatment after his ear was bitten in an assault at a Bury St Edmunds pub.
A man tried to punch the 34-year-old customer as he left the Greengage pub, in Tollgate Lane, just after 8pm on Thursday, May 3.
The victim then retreated into the pub where after a further struggle his ear was bitten by the man.
The injury required hospital treatment.
The suspect then left the scene as a passenger in a dark-coloured car.
