Mercedes-Benz set on fire in arson attack which spread to fence in Bury St Edmunds




Police are investigating an arson attack involving a car in the early hours of this morning in Bury St Edmunds.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called at 12.14am to a Mercedes-Benz which had been set on fire in Ashwell Road.

The blaze had spread to a nearby fence and a crew from Bury St Edmunds extinguished both fires.

The incident was dealt with by 12.42am.
