A134 in Sicklesmere, near Bury St Edmunds, reopens after crash where motorcyclist was injured




A motorcyclist has been injured in a crash on a key route near Bury St Edmunds.

Suffolk Police was alerted by the East of England Ambulance Service shortly before 8am to a two-vehicle collision at the junction of Bury Road, Sicklesmere, and the A134.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said the road was blocked off by debris.

The crash was between a motorcycle and a car, although a third vehicle was also involved in some way, the spokeswoman said.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and recovery were also alerted to the scene.

The motorcyclist has suffered injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening or serious, the spokeswoman said.

The route reopened at 9.40am.
