Motorists are experiencing long delays with traffic coming to a standstill in several areas of a town.
Traffic has been reported in Compiegne Way and on the A14 eastbound in Bury St Edmunds.
Emergency repairs were under way at Cullum Road on Friday due to a burst water main.
There are also ongoing works in Eastgate Street which could be causing the delays.
It has been reported that there was a lorry unloading in Tayfen Road which may have impacted traffic in the town centre.
Police were called to a crash between a lorry and a van on the A134 in Ingham at about 7.40am.
This caused slow moving traffic in the area as well while recovery was being arranged.
