Cars in Bishops Road, Friars Lane and Harland Court, in Bury St Edmunds, smashed and damaged




Several cars were smashed and damaged in a town.

A car in Friars Lane, Bury St Edmunds, was targeted at some point between 7pm on Thursday and 10.30am on Friday.

A brick was thrown at it which smashed one of its windows (reference – 37/62297/24).

A similar object was used to smash the back windscreen of a vehicle in a communal car park in Harland Court, off Station Hill.

The damage was caused at some time between 5pm on Friday and 10.20am on Saturday (reference – 37/62576/24).

On Sunday, at some point between 6am and 6.30pm, vandals targeted a car parked in Bishops Road.

One of its wing mirrors was damaged, leaving it hanging off (reference – 37/62603/24).
