Suffolk Police appeal after mushroom ornament stolen from property in Felsham near Bury St Edmunds

Investigators are appealing to the public following the theft of a concrete mushroom ornament from the lawn of a private address.

The incident occurred in Felsham, some time between 9am and 6pm on Monday.

The ornament, shaped like a mushroom, is believed to be worth around £200.

It was visible to passers-by, and the thieves would have needed to park in the driveway.

The victim believes at least two persons may have been involved in the theft, as one offender would have struggled to lift it into a vehicle.

Anybody who believes they witnessed the theft, or who may have information of potential relevance to investigators, should contact Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime reference 37/28404/22.
