Mystery crochet work in support of Ukraine appears on Angel Hill in Bury St Edmunds




Another mystery piece of crochet work has appeared in Bury St Edmunds - this time in support of Ukraine.

The creation, on Angel Hill, is blue and yellow with a white bird on the top.

The national bird of Ukraine is a white stork.

A photo of the crochet work was posted on Twitter by Julia Wakelam, a West Suffolk Council Green Party councillor, with the hashtag #StandswithUkraine.

The hashtag represents a show of support for the Ukrainian people.

The European country been at war with Russia since last month.

Mystery crochet artworks have been cropping up in Bury St Edmunds since last year.

Last month, one was placed on top of a postbox on Angel Hill in support of Ukraine.
