A trial for a teenager, who was charged after a suspected Needham Market stabbing, has been put back to February.
The 17-year-old from Ilford, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared via video link in Ipswich Crown Court this morning (Monday, July 27).
Siobhan Phillips was found with stab wounds in Quinton Road in Needham Market on October 19 last year.
A trial had been slated to begin today - but counsel held a further case management to allow more preparation time.
The trial could take up to five days from February 15, 2021, with Covid-19 having delayed court proceedings.
The defendant has had his custody extended to February 19.
