Toddle about Suffolk Magazine sets date for new baby and toddler show

A leading Suffolk magazine is set to launch a new baby and toddler show in the county later on in the year.

Due to demand and feedback from parents and businesses across Suffolk and the wider area, Toddle About Suffolk will be bringing the event to the area on October 16.

Pia Howe, who runs the magazine, said 80 per cent of parents surveyed said they would love to have a show of this kind.

The free show will include activities and entertainment for children including a soft play area, café, breastfeeding area and ‘meet and greet characters’.

After the closures of many high street stores, some said they had nowhere to go and ‘test’ baby equipment or talk to experts who can recommend the best products for their new or young arrival.

The mum-of-two said: "The event will help new and expecting parents, and it will also give local businesses a much-needed boost.

"My own experiences of attending these kind of shows as both a parent and a business owner have inspired me to create this event.

The show will be on October 16, between 10am and 3pm.

"With my background in the events industry and as a parenting magazine publisher, I’m confident it’s going to be a huge success.”

There will also be live demonstrations from a vast array of experts which will give businesses and parents the chance to talk, face to face, to each other – perhaps for the first time since before the pandemic.

The Toddle About Baby and Toddler Show will be held at Wherstead Park, Ipswich, on October 16, between 10am and 3pm.
