New film celebrating Bury St Edmunds town centre businesses produced ahead of reopening

A new film celebrating Bury St Edmunds town centre businesses has been produced as traders count down the days to reopening.

Our Bury St Edmunds Business Improvement District (BID) has arranged the video to showcase the town as part of its #BuryBouncingBack campaign.

The film, made with the support of the town council, will be shown this weekend on the Our Bury St Edmunds YouTube channel and across its social media streams.

Many of the town’s businesses feature in the new video, which was made by Allegro Creative Agency following the Bury Merry Christmas film - viewed about 150,000 times.

They include big brands such as Hotel Chocolat and long-standing retailers including Javelin, recently voted by readers of Grazia one of the UK’s best boutiques, and Trotter and Deane.

From Monday, shops and hairdressers, forced to close for three months, can welcome back customers, while restaurants and pubs can serve outdoors.
