A father of three has released an alphabet book series to boost children's vocabulary.

Jeff Pyne, aged 48 from Bury St Edmunds, was inspired to write the collection after reading to his children before bed.

Jeff said: "It's so important to keep children reading, it helps them understand the meaning of words in context and it keeps their imagination alive."

The IT expert turned his hand to writing 18 months ago, naming his first book after his daughter Isabelle who the family refer to as Belle-Belle.

It was the same daughter who came up with the second half of Jeff's pen name Ziggy Zethron.

With over 11,000 words in the English language, Jeff is hopeful that his alphabetical series will be both educational and entertaining.
