A new wine bar could be coming to Bury St Edmunds if a licence application is given the green light.
An application has been submitted to West Suffolk Council for the new bar at 33 Buttermarket in the town centre, which would be called The Wine Cellar.
Application documents state the wine bar would be big enough for 40 covers and feature a 'lounge style' seating area upon entry.
As well as being able to drink on-site, customers would also be able to purchase beverages from a 'wine wall' to take home.
The application states the bar would be open seven days a week but opening hours could fluctuate depending on the time of year.
Anyone wanting to comment on the licence application has until May 19.
