New Cornish Bakery branch in Bury St Edmunds to open on March 20
An opening date has been confirmed for a Cornish Bakery branch in Bury St Edmunds.
The bakery will welcome customers on Monday, March 20 at the remaining empty unit in the former Palmers building, in Buttermarket.
The shop had been due to open last year but the launch was postponed due to complications with the refit.
The Cornish Bakery has branches across the UK but the Bury St Edmunds outlet is only the second to launch in Suffolk with the other being in Southwold.
The former Palmers was transformed into two ground floor shops and eight apartments on the first, second and third floors.
Menswear retailer Brook Taverner opened last year at the other unit in the converted building.
Palmers closed in January 2018 having traded there since 1961.
