Rumbles Fish Bar in Slater Avenue on the Moreton Hall estate, Bury St Edmunds, delays opening




The opening of a new takeaway on a Bury St Edmunds housing estate has been delayed.

Rumbles Fish Bar, on the Lark Grange development of the Moreton Hall estate, was originally scheduled to open on Monday, however, this has been postponed.

In a Facebook post the owners said: “Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control the grand opening of Rumbles Moreton Hall has been cancelled.

“New date to be confirmed soon.”

Once it opens in Slater Avenue, Rumbles Fish Bar will offer fish and chips, kebabs, burgers and pies.

The Sainsbury’s Local store next door to the takeaway opened yesterday , creating 20 new jobs.

Rumbles Fish Bar was approached for comment.
