Around £600 of heating oil stolen in Barrow near Bury St Edmunds

Police are urging residents to stay wary after around £600 of heating oil was stolen in Barrow near Bury St Edmunds.

The theft happened in Barrow Hill between 12.30pm on Saturday and 7.45am yesterday morning.

An unknown person(s) broke into an oil tank at a doctor's surgery and around £600 of fuel was stolen.

Anyone with information relating to the theft should contact Suffolk Police quoting crime reference 37/15398/22.

It comes after similar incidents were reported to police since the start of the year.
