Bury St Edmunds thieves smash more than 60 eggs for sale to help elderly neighbours
Dozens of eggs being sold outside a Bury St Edmunds home to help elderly neighbours were stolen and smashed.
A resident, in Church Walks, who sells eggs from a cool box outside her home, returned on Friday to find between 60 and 70 eggs broken on the ground.
She had started selling the eggs on a non-profit basis to help elderly neighbours.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, which was between 1.30pm and 5.15pm.
