Owners thanks community after Nemo the cat, who went missing from Mustow Street, Bury St Edmunds, found




A cat who went missing and which saw a widespread social media campaign to get him home has been found.

Nemo, a 20-year-old tabby cat, was returned home safe yesterday evening after the owners were contacted online.

He was originally reported as having been stolen from his home in Mustow Street, Bury St Edmunds, nearly two weeks ago.

One of the owners, Andrew Christopher, said: "I'm ecstatic that my little girl's cat has been found safe and sound.

"She has that happy smile back on her face.

"Knowing we couldn't promise anything to her was heartbreaking."

He added: "Myself and her mum are very grateful for all the support that took place in finding Nemo.

"If it wasn't for the community coming together he may never have returned home so thank you."
