Paramedics, fire service and police called to 'medical emergency' in Bury St Edmunds
Paramedics were called to reports of a 'medical emergency' in Bury St Edmunds this morning.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust responded to a call shortly after 11am today off Out Risbygate.
A spokesman said: "A rapid response vehicle, ambulance officer, ambulance and a crew from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service attended and treated a male patient at the scene before transporting him to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and care."
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and Suffolk Police were also called to assist paramedics.
