Pensioner Peter Bradley admits committing child sex offences in Bury St Edmunds




A former Bury St Edmunds pensioner has admitted a string of child sex offences said to have been committed over a 14-year period.

Peter Bradley, 81, who is currently being held at HMP Norwich, appeared today at Ipswich Crown Court.

He pleaded guilty to eight offences committed between 2004 and 2018.

Bradley is charged with three offences of sexual touching, four of indecent assault and one of inciting a girl aged under 14 to engage in sexual activity.

The girls alleged to have been Bradley's victims were aged between four and 15 at the time of the offences, which were all alleged to have been committed in Bury.

Judge Emma Peters told Bradley, who appeared in court via a video link from prison, that his sentencing would take place on January 18.
