A collision on the A11 at Thetford, where two people were injured, is being investigated by police.

Officers were called at around 5pm on Thursday, August 23, following reports a blue Ford Fiesta left the southbound carriageway and went into a ditch near to the BP petrol station.

Two female occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries and were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.

One lane was closed whilst emergency services attended but was later reopened.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, particularly anyone who was driving in that area and has dash-cam footage, should contact PC James Shepherd at Wymondham Roads Policing Team on 101.
