Person taken to hospital after crash between van and car in Beyton Road, Thurston, near Bury St Edmunds

A person has been taken to hospital following a crash between a van and a car in a Suffolk village.

Emergency services were called to Beyton Road in Thurston, near Bury St Edmunds, at 7.38am today.

An ambulance and ambulance officer vehicle were sent to the scene.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said one patient was transported by road to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
