Person taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries after two-vehicle crash on A1302 in Bury St Edmunds

A person has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in a Suffolk town.

The person suffered potentially serious injuries after the incident on the A1302 Cullum Road heading northbound in Bury St Edmunds.

Police were called by the ambulance service at 7.03am to attend the scene.

The road was closed but has been reopened now and a vehicle has been recovered.

According to the AA traffic map, there is currently congestion to all approaches to the roundabout from Nowton Road, Wilks Road and Southgate Street.
