Hockwold fire: Pictures show devastation after blaze rips through building

Pictures from the scene of a building fire that took hold in a Suffolk village today show the devastation left behind.

Firefighters from Brandon and Mildenhall were called to Hockwold at 12.29pm to reports of a building fire.

Upon arrival, officers found the building well-alight and crews used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to fight the flames.

Thermal imaging cameras were also used to determine hotspots.

Pictures from the scene shows the gutted building after the fire was extinguished, as well as the burnt out interior.

The crews left the scene by 1.29pm.
