On today's podcast, we have news that a flood-hit major road in Bury St Edmunds will be closed for nearly three weeks for urgent works.
The A143 at Compiegne Way will be closed from 9am-5pm daily from Monday, March 13 until Saturday, April 8.
It is the latest in a series of closures along the flood-hit stretch, which runs alongside the British Sugar plant, with Suffolk Highways admitting to ‘ongoing issues’ with drainage.

A road in Suffolk has been closed after fire crews battled a large blaze in the early hours of this morning.
At 2.50am today, six fire crews were called to reports of a fire at an old community centre, about 10m x 4m, on Rectory Lane in Worlingham, near Beccles.

A charity night organised by the parents of a two-year-old who was born with an incurable chromosome disorder has raised £20,000.
Sonnie McAleese, who lives with his parents Pat and Lucy in Barrow, between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds, was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition in which part of his chromosome no.7 was missing.
The couple were told Sonnie would never be able to eat or drink normally and his speech would be affected because chromosome no.7 deals with sentence building.
