On today's podcast we discuss how a homeowner near Thetford says he has been left 'gutted' after his fund-raising Christmas lights were broken by vandals.

Roy Cooke, of Western Close, Feltwell, has been putting up the lights outside his house for the last 20 years to raise money for West Suffolk Hospital charity My WiSH.

Over £300 worth of damage is believed to have taken place and the incident is under investigation.

Meanwhile a Haverhill councillor has criticised the East of England Ambulance Service Trust for a lack of openness around a potential reduction in emergency cover at the ambulance station.

And West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust have announced the measures and restrictions on visitors over Christmas and Boxing Day.

On both days, one named visitor will be allowed to visit one patient for up to one hour each day.
