At 9.35pm in Walberswick, firefighters were alerted to a semi-detached house in The Street that saw a blaze spread across both floors and roof cavity.
No injuries have been reported and all persons were accounted for,

In Bury St Edmunds in Abbeygate Street, Thurlow Champness Jewellers has announced its imminent closure on August 31.
Considered to be one of Bury's oldest retail businesses, the jewellers will be launching a sale from 10am Saturday.
Trevor Salt, managing director and majority shareholder, says it will be a sad day to close the doors.
And finally, the UK heatwave is expected to continue in Suffolk with possible temperature of 33 degrees.
The country's highest temperature of 32.7 was recorded on June 17 - so temperatures could surpass that either today or tomorrow.
