On the podcast today, we've got the news that bosses at West Suffolk Hospital have been heavily criticised in a damning NHS report.

It’s after an independent investigation into the trust which runs the Bury St Edmunds hospital was sparked after senior staff were asked for handwriting and fingerprint samples to identify a whistleblower.

The trust has said it takes ‘full responsibility for failings and shortcomings’ around the handling of events leading up to and surrounding the whistleblowing and has apologised to staff and families affected.

Thieves have been caught on camera stealing a catalytic converter from a car parked at a Beck Row property.

Police were alerted to the theft from a Honda CRV parked in Holmsey Green on Tuesday evening.

A woman has spoken of how she was left feeling like a burden as she waited more than five months and made hundreds of phone calls to get her reinstated driving licence.

Emily Nunn, who lives in Great Finborough, had her licence revoked after she started suffering seizures fllowing the birth of her son.

But having been seizure-free for more than a year, she applied to have her licence reinstated, which was signed off by her consultant.

A DVLA spokesperson said there are delays with processing paper applications and additional waits due to processing more complex cases.
