Police were called to junction 35 and 37 on the eastbound carriageway at 6.10pm yesterday.

A schoolboy has pleaded for a bridge to be built over a busy stretch of road so he and others can safely cross it in a letter he has written to a parish council.

Jacob Black, 8, regularly crosses the A143 in Ixworth with his mum, Clare, and is often left feeling scared due to how fast cars travel along the road.

A trial of five people accused of murdering a man who was stabbed to death in Thetford has begun.

David Lawal, 25, was found in Brandon Road, Thetford, on Thursday, October 3, 2019, where he died at the scene from a single stab wound to the neck and upper chest.
