In today's podcast we have the news that a Haverhill man was jailed today for a string of assaults committed over a period of years.

Daniel Jackson, a Warren Court resident, was in the dock at Ipswich Crown Court over attacks committed in Haverhill between 2019 and 2020.

At Ipswich Crown Court, Mr Jackson was convicted of two counts of ABH and two counts of GBH in relation to two separate incidents.

Meanwhile, Norman Gregory, a World War Two veteran who is well known for his cycling prowess, has received a surprise honorary degree on his 100th birthday.

Also, residents have spoken of their frustration after vintage post boxes were stolen from villages over the past two weeks.

Finally, the landlady of The Five Bells in Great Cornard has spoken of her devastation and anger, after the business she has called her own for over 16 years was sold.
