Suffolk Police appeal for witnesses after attempted caravan theft in Beck Row
Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted theft of a caravan at a house.
The incident happened in Aspal Lane in Beck Row, near Mildenhall, between 1.43am and 2.57am on Monday, April 11.
The caravan was parked on the driveway to a house, with a metal post concreted into the ground and another vehicle parked in front of it.
The post was dug out of the ground, along with the concrete base, and left nearby.
The suspect arrived at the house in a 4x4 vehicle with the lights off and stayed there digging out the post for around an hour, before leaving without the caravan.
The man is described as 5ft 9, in his early 30s with dark hair. He was wearing a hoody and jeans, and was driving a Land Rover style car.
