Scott Davies, 28, arrested near Birmingham after absconding from Hollesley Bay

A man who absconded from a Suffolk prison has been in arrested near Birmingham, one week after going missing.

Scott Davies, 28, was reported missing from Hollesley Bay at 6.50am on Tuesday, March 23.

Police said a roll call was carried out and he could not be located.

Forces caught up with him in West Bromwich on Wednesday, March 31.

Suffolk Constabulary said he has since been returned to the prison system.
