Police and fire service called to industrial incident in Rougham Tower Avenue in Bury St Edmunds




Police are at the scene of an industrial incident in Bury St Edmunds.

Officers were called just before 3pm to the incident in Rougham Tower Avenue along with the fire and rescue service.

The Health and Safety Executive has also been informed.

A police spokesman said: "The incident remains on–going and investigations continue.

"At this stage it is believed that one person is affected, although the cause will have no wider threat to the community."

Nine fire engine attended the incident and the fire service left the scene at 3.32pm.

A police cordon remains in place whilst the investigation continues.
