Police called to help catch dog running into Westley Lane, Westley, and A143, Horringer, near Bury St Edmunds




Police were called to help catch a dog on the loose after it kept running into two roads.

The dog was described by the public as possibly a greyhound or lurcher with a black/grey coat and police were spotted at about 8.20am in a field in Westley, near Bury St Edmunds.

A spokesperson said there were initial reports of the dog running into the road in Westley Lane and then again in the A143 in Horringer.
