Police crack down on anti-social driving at Sybil Andrews Academy car park in Bury St Edmunds




Police stopped and checked 20 vehicles at a school car park following reports of anti-social driving — with seven drivers issued tickets.

Officers from the Community Policing Team, Roads and Armed Policing Team, and Response Investigation Team conducted enforcement checks at the Sybil Andrews Academy car park in Bury St Edmunds.

A total of 20 vehicles were stopped and seven drivers were issued Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) tickets.

One driver was handed a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) and one vehicle was seized, leaving the site on the back of a recovery truck.

Police say the action is a clear message that anti-social vehicle use will not be tolerated and will be dealt with.
