Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team stop van driving transporting insecure load on A14 at Bury St Edmunds

Police stopped an uninsured van driver in Bury St Edmunds who was transporting an insecure load.

Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team posted to Twitter X this morning that officers stopped the driver on the A14 whose load was 600kg overweight and was ‘literally hanging on by threads’ due to worn out straps.

The post added: “Thankfully we stopped this one in time and got it off our roads.”

The driver was reported and the vehicle was seized.
