Bury St Edmunds Police urge Howard Estate residents to report vandalism to Christmas decorations after spates of incidents





Police in Bury St Edmunds are urging people to report instances of Christmas lights being cut after a spate of damage on an estate.

On a post on Facebook, Bury St Edmunds Police said it is aware that a group of three teenagers have been damaging Christmas decorations in people’s gardens on the Howard Estate.

It comes after several people have posted to a Facebook group voicing their frustrations about their decorations being vandalised or cut.

The police has asked people who have been affected to report these incidents online or call 999 if a crime is in progress.

It added householders should check CCTV and ring doorbell footage.
