Theft of wallet from car in Bury St Edmunds prompts Suffolk Police warning




Police are urging residents to stay wary following the theft of a wallet from a vehicle in Bury St Edmunds.

A car parked in Merchant Avenue was broken into between 1.20am and 2am yesterday morning, with a wallet containing cash stolen from inside.

Police have urged residents to ensure vehicles are locked and belongings removed before leaving them unattended.
