Suffolk Police warn about driving safely after releasing footage of overturned car between Pettaugh and Stonham Aspal




A driver had a lucky escape last night after overturning their BMW on a Suffolk road.

Police were called to an incident just after 7.45pm yesterday on the 1120 between Pettaugh and Stonham Aspal.

A BMW M5 was found at the scene on its roof and a recovery vehicle was called to put it upright again.

The car was written off in the incident, the driver was unharmed and able to get out of the vehicle.

The Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team (NSRAPT) tweeted the incident with a message to others.

"Drive to the conditions. The speed limit is not a target. This driver escaped with no injuries but a written off new M5."
