Bay Tree Café in St John’s Street, Bury St Edmunds, shortlisted in Good Food Awards 2025/26
A popular café in Bury St Edmunds has been shortlisted for a prestigious award following its win last year.
The Bay Tree Café, in St John’s Street, is in the running for the 2025/26 Good Food Awards for the second year running.
Owners Alex and Lisa Rotherham, who took over the business in 2023, said they were ‘thankful’ to be recognised after winning the award last November.
Alex said: “We are so thankful to whoever nominated us.
“As a small independent business, things like this mean so much to us that people actually appreciate what we do and the hard work involved."
The Good Food Awards celebrate hospitality venues across the UK which demonstrate excellence in food quality, service and value.
The coveted Blue Ribbon is awarded to those with outstanding customer reviews and strong public support.
Members of the public can vote for the Bay Tree Café at www.goodfoodaward.com/vote and winners will be announced later this year.
Lisa added: “We absolutely love our little café and all our lovely customers, many of who are now friends. Thank you."
