Bury St Edmunds Round Table Fireworks Spectacular sells out for first time in its history




A popular Bury St Edmunds fireworks display which raises thousands of pounds for good causes has sold out.

The Bury St Edmunds Round Table Fireworks Spectacular is returning to the Abbey Gardens on Saturday following a two year absence due to the pandemic.

With a capacity for 5,000 people, the last tickets were snapped up this morning and it is the first time in its history that the event has sold out.

It could generate as much as £15,000 for good causes in the town.

Robin Cutler, one of the organisers, said: "We're obviously delighted and it gets us back to being able to help out the people we want to.

"The town council has played a big part in making sure this event goes ahead so thank you to them."
